Karl Urban's Dredd. To me that is one of the best comic book adaptations. It's gritty and dark. Karl's performance of Dredd I think, is brilliant. Plus, he doesn't take his helmet off.
Lost count of the amount of times I watched 'Blade'. It was the first DVD I owned, so I watched the film and the extras multiple times. The change in the ending was relatively last minute, which I found interesting. Lots of great production insights, which increases my enjoyment of the film even more.
Excellent list! I absolutely agree (although I have not seen #4; will seek it out based on your taste). Must admit to being a fan of Iron Man (the first) & Deadpool, plus I also enjoyed (1st)Capt. America… and Guardians of the Galaxy (although it doesn’t stand up to close scrutiny) it’s just a hellava lot of silly fun.

Just reread this in the cold hard light of day and realised I forgot to mention my shared love for Burton's Batman Returns: The supremely disturbed performance by DeVito as The Penguin, Michelle Pfeiffer's sexy & unhinged Catwoman and the magnificent darkness of the whole are an unbeatable combination! Miaow!
For me, the best Fantastic Four movie has already been made: The Incredibles. Superman II has got to be in there for me ("General. Would you care to step outside...?"), the first Avengers movie is terrific, Black Panther's Marvel's best, for me (unlike Wonder Woman, you don't have to pretend it's good.) Blade was one of the best movie experiences I've ever had. Late night show at the UCI Lea Valley. Whole audience was up for it. Brilliant.
I liked the first WW film. Well, the first two acts, anyway. I also liked the first Cap movie. I think it's the historical settings that drew me in. The Invincibles almost made the list.

Yeah, a great film. But, even if Dredd had super powers it's debatable whether or not one could class him as a hero.
Ah, very valid point.

I rewatched it recently and it still holds up. A very cool film.

I felt very similar to the FF trailer. Not sure what everyone was raving about.
I guess they're just not as cool as us.
And not a single mention of Nic Cage as Ghost Rider!
That might be the only Nic Cage film (that isn't a dodgy remake of the Wickerman) that I haven't seen.
